Andrés & Heather's Weddings

We will celebrate our wedding in Costa Rica at Colinas del Poás, a restaurant located in Fraijanes, a few kilometers away from the Poás Volcano National Park, in the Alajuela provice.  The wedding will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 11 a.m.

Colinas del Poás is located 1 kilometer to the north and 100 meters to the east of the Escuela de Fraijanes.  Another way of expressing its location is 100 meters to the north and 200 to the east of the Fraijanes cemetery.  Colinas del Poás is 5 km to the north of the Bosques de Fraijanes park.  As you get close, there are several signs on the side of the road that indicate the distance remaining.

Colinas del Poás is 41 km away (between one and two hours by car) from downtown San José, and 20 km away from Alajuela (between 30 and 60 minutes).  Please head out early to arrive on time.  Colinas del Poás has plenty of parking space available.

We will provide a bus for any who would like transportation from San José.  Please informs us over email if you need bus transportation.  We’ll post information about the departure place and time (and approximate return time) as the wedding date approaches.
